Deb was trained as a Lutheran music educator at Concordia−New York and found her calling as a church musician. Starting on flute in 4th grade, she also played the piano every day after school and then studied organ in college while learning to love choral music. After completing a Master of Music in Choral Conducting at SMU in Dallas, she was called to be Minister of Music at VLC where she serves as organist, leads the Chancel Choir, Village Belles and FaithWalk (praise group), and oversees worship. She also keeps her hand in music education, assisting with choral and instrumental activities at The Chapel School.
